Should you pop that pimple? Clear skin hacks

We know it’s ‘oh so tempting’, but you know as well as we do that popping pimples are a no-go, especially if you’re in the market for clear, radiant skin. “But how else would you get rid of a pimple without giving it one, almighty squeeze?” Keep reading as we dish out our top tips to put pimples in their place and live your best #clearskin life. 

1. Stop before you pop!

Ladies, we get it. Popping pimples can be addictive, and once you start, it’s hard to stop! But please, if you’re looking to reduce the number of pimples on your skin (especially face) you need to stop; like yesterday! 


When you pop your pimples, the bacteria from inside the pore is transferred onto your fingers. Whatever you touch from there on out (e.g. other areas of the face), are infected with the same pimple-causing bacteria - see what we’re getting at here? 2. Style your hair then apply makeup

This may sound like a strange tip, we mean, how could the order in which you get ready in the AM possibly affect your skin? Well, if you think about it, it actually makes a lot of sense.

3. Clean your phone/keyboard regularly

Yep, pimples can strike at any time; even in your sleep! Oils and dirt from your hair are easily transferred onto pillows during sleep, especially if your tossing and turning regularly. This same dirt is also transferred onto your face while laying on your pillows; a perfect recipe for a pimple nightmare!
