|Carbohydrate||Black beans, oats||
Carbohydrates are your bodies preferred source of energy used to create new cells.
As the number 1 source of plant-based iron, raw cacao is more than just a tasty powder!
These same cells are the cells used in the creation of new hair follicles.
In reverse, a lack of iron, leading to a lack of oxygen in the cells, causes hair loss as hair follicles can no longer grow or survive.
|Fatty Acid Chains||Coconut Oil||
Fat’s main role in your hair’s health is to retain moisture, lustre, and shine. They are essential in ensuring hair remains elastic and supple all year round.
|Vitamin E||Coconut Oil||
Bursting with antioxidants, this vitamin diminishes the number of free radicals and oxidative stress that cause the hair follicle cells to break down.
|Protein||Black beans||Hair is predominately made up of a type of protein, called Keratin. Because of this, it relies on extra protein to maintain tensile strength and keep sufficient elasticity.|
