Q&A

Are you supposed to use this on wet or dry hair?
Our heat spray can be used on both dry and wet hair!
Should this be used before or after the Volume + Texture Styling Cream?

Is this product safe on keratin-treated hair?
Hi Nicole, Many thanks for reaching out to us. Great news, our BondiBoost products are free from silicones, sulphates, parabens, and phthalates which is great for hair that has been Keratin Treated. I am allergic to fragrance. Does this product have fragrance or a strong smell?
Hi Anne, Many thanks for reaching out to us. Please note our Heat Protect Spray contains a tropical Bamboo Grove fragrance. However our Prep and Protect Hair Primer is free from artificial fragrance. This innovative formula is infused with castor oil to protect your hair from heat while meadowfoam seed oil allows your styling products to more deeply penetrate your hair. Wait, why did the ingredients change? The bottle used to say "contains no sulfates, drying alcohol, phthalates" but now I'm seeing those ingredients in the new one: phenethyl alcohol, diethyl phthalate, alcohol denat...
Hi Liz, Thanks for reaching out! I would love to clear up some confusion - Our ingredients list may look different, but that’s not because our core formula has changed. Under the upcoming rules of MoCRA, if a complex in our product comprises multiple ingredients, each ingredient must be individually listed. This means our ingredients list will look a little longer. To clarify further, MoCRA is the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act – passed in 2022 – which gives the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) greater control over standards and regulations within the cosmetics industry. These rules require, among other things, a more detailed approach to listing ingredients. I hope this clears any confusion. However, please know what’s important is that our hero ingredients such as Rosemary, Peppermint, Redensyl and Procapil – haven’t changed.
