design is Terrible!!!
"I wanted to love this curler because the curls it creates are beautiful, but the design is incredibly frustrating. The biggest issue is the placement of the power switch. It sits directly underneath the thumb lever used to open and close the barrel. Every time you release the barrel while curling your hair, your thumb naturally rests on the switch and accidentally turns the wand off. This happens repeatedly throughout styling and completely ruins the experience. The switch also feels loose and flimsy, making it even easier to knock off accidentally. For a product at this price point, this is a major design flaw that should have been identified before release. I originally purchased this from Hairhouse when the brand I wanted was sold out. Before buying, I asked whether I could return it if I didn’t like it and was told it could only be returned if faulty. Unfortunately, while the curler technically works, the poor design means it is frustrating to use every single time. The curls are fantastic. The build quality and switch placement are not. Had I known about this issue beforehand, I would have purchased a different brand. Picture shows tong handle shutting off tool."
